Leaves and Storm Drains

Franklin Trace Homeowners,

As the fall season transitions into winter, we wanted to send a friendly reminder about the fallen leaves that can clog storm drains. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to clean up the leaves in and around the storm drains, if your property abuts up to one of the drains.

The water and soil conservation officer says that the drainage out of the pond boarding Southport Rd. needs to be cleaned out and repaired so that the pond drains so Dickinson Rd. will not flood. This is Citizens and the City’s responsibility. Now the common area drainage issue is the HOA’s responsibility. Also, the drainage pipes going to the pond from Dickinson need inspected. Today, the road flooded again into our yards and up to a car. Please see to this being fixed.
