Continuing Muskrat Issues

September 25th, 2009 Leave a comment Go to comments

The association has received additional complaints from residents regarding ongoing muskrat destruction of homeowner property.  This is especially a concern around the northwest pond, where there is no rip-rap (rocks) along the bank.  The result is bank erosion and the possibility for state intervention (they can require rip-rap installation at home-owner expense.)

The muskrat (it is believed there is only one) will be removed along with the traps as soon as possible. We’ve diligently pursued the most humane possible methods but please be aware that options are very limited.

If you have any questions or issues, please use any method listed in the contact form link at the top of the site.
