Paul Puckett, Carol Ferson, and Angel Robbins met with Robert Pesco of First Class Landscaping today at 2:00PM. John Eaton was to attend the meeting but did not.

We discussed the front drainage area, landscaping, and the pruning of the pear trees.  The details are below.

  • First Class Landscaping will give a quote to remove and replace the dead pine tree on Southport Road
  • A limb on a tree at the front entrance has been hit by lightning and it needs to be removed from the tree; First Class Landscaping will take care of this.
  • Many of the pines along the front roadway are not healthy and may need to be replaced in the near future.
  • First Class Landscaping will trim all of the pear trees this fall and they will let us know when this will happen; this will need to be done every 3-5 years.
  • The empty lot on Preamble Ct & Franklin Parke Blvd needs to be cleared of brush and trash. Alig (Carol) will contact the owner and, if it is not removed, the owner will be billed for the removal.
  • One of the houses on Preamble Ct has a pile of mulch on the property that needs to be removed. Alig will contact the property owners.

Front Drainage Ditch

  • The tile might be clogged.
  • Plastic edging is not needed; First Class Landscaping will have plastic edging taken out, which will cost around $200-$300.
  • First Class Landscaping will submit bids on suggested repairs to Alig by Friday 22-Aug-2008.
